1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using https://www.dcauditapp.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. The Service
DCAI generates audits and blueprints for Discord servers based on publicly available invite data and, when connected, data available through Discord's OAuth and bot APIs.
Reports are informational. They do not constitute legal, security, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for how you act on them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policy.
- Audit servers you do not have permission to audit (owner-mode requires MANAGE_GUILD permission).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service beyond documented interfaces.
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or invasive of another's privacy.
- Use the Service to build a competing product using our outputs verbatim.
5. Discord connection & bot
When you connect your Discord account, DCAI receives an OAuth token allowing it to list servers you administer. When you install the DCAI bot for owner-mode audits, the bot uses read-only permissions to inspect roles, channels, and integrations. You can revoke access at any time from your Discord settings and from your DCAI settings.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including our software, branding, and generated report templates, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of your own inputs (Discord server data you submit) and of the tailored outputs generated for your servers.
You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate and improve the Service.
7. Billing
Paid plans, if enabled, are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and features may change with reasonable notice.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Discord, Supabase, Cloudflare, Google (Gemini), and Resend. We are not responsible for third-party outages, changes, or policies.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that audits are complete, error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, endanger the Service, or as required by law. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (IP, warranty disclaimer, liability limits, indemnity) will remain in effect.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice and reflected in the version and effective date at the top of this document. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
